By Mahindra Scorpio N is one of the hottest-selling SUVs in the country and the SUV now offers 5 new variants with added features to meet the customer need. The Indian manufacturer is in its peak position with a record-breaking booking period of more than 8 months for its SUV Scorpio N. Not only the Scorpio N other SUVs the brand offers, XUV7OO and Thar are also under the long waiting period. Mahindra launched the Scorpio N in late June 2022 and now the sources convey that the SUV get five new variants – two petrol and three diesel.
The 5 new variants are named Z2 G MT E, Z2 D MT E, Z4 G MT E, Z4 D MT E and Z4 D MT 4WD E. The Z2 is the base variant whereas the Z4 is the mid variant. This enables the customers to choose the SUV under their best budget as the Mahindra Scorpio N Z2 G MT E is priced at Rs. 12.49 lakh, Scorpio N Z2 D MT E at Rs. 12.99 lakh, Scorpio N Z4 G MT E at Rs. 13.99 lakh, Scorpio N Z4 D MT E at Rs. 14.49 lakh and Scorpio N Z4 D MT 4WD E at Rs. 16.94 lakh (ex-showroom).
The base variant of the Scorpio N now offers features that are making the SUV feel not so basic. The Z2 base variant offers features like halogen lamps, 16-inch steel wheels, electrically powered steering wheel on the petrol trim, power windows, tumble function for second and third rows, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering wheel with mounted controls and USB charger at the front. The Z4 mid variant offers features like the cooled glove box, air conditioning module for the middle row, height adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, cruise control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, second row USB charger, electrically adjustable Outside Rear View Mirrors, etc.
Some of the features like ESC (Electronic Stability Control) and Hill Hold Assist were offered only with the automatic transmission models and now it is added to the manual transmission models – N Z2 G MT E (petrol) and Z2 D MT E (diesel) variants. This addition of features will largely attract customers as this will enable many people to afford the SUV for this price point reasonably equipped with features even in the base variant. Apart from these new features and variants, mechanically Scorpio N is same as earlier.
