By Ever since its launch in 2002, the Scorpio has been one of the most successful models of Mahindra in India and the company re-introduced OG Scorpio as Scorpio Classic last year. Since its introduction, Scorpio Class is extremely popular and it is available in two variants – S and S11. According to new reports, the waiting period for Scorpio Classic extends to seven months and the company is planning to increase production to reduce the waiting period.
Mahindra Scorpio Classic is powered by a 2.2 L mHawk engine with 132 hp of power and 300 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and the company doesn’t offer an automatic gearbox with the Classic model. The Classic model comes with features like an infotainment system, projector headlamps and more. The new-generation model which is Scorpio N is also selling really well as it is a big upgrade from the Classic model.
