KTM Achieved One Million Production Milestone In India

KTM achieves one million production milestone In India and one millionth KTM motorcycle Adv 390 races out of Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant in Pune. KTM and Bajaj Auto’s successful partnership set a global benchmark for collaboration between the two automotive titans. And this partnership has enabled KTM to achieve its second half of the first million motorcycle in comparatively very less time. KTM India has established itself as the leading sports motorcycle brand network of more than 460 dealers. The brand also has a wide product range in the country which enables the brand to cater in almost all enthusiastic segment. The diversity in the brands product line also helped the brand to achieve this milestone.

The achievement showcases Bajaj Auto’s expertise as a global manufacturing hub for motorcycles across categories. Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant emerges as a key centre for exports in the country, given that half the KTMs were shipped to mature markets worldwide. Bajaj Auto co-develops and manufactures a range of motorcycles spanning KTM (125cc to 390cc) and Husqvarna (125cc to 401cc) brands. Many of the models produced here have cutting-edge technology like Motorcycle Traction Control, Cornering ABS, Supermoto ABS, Quickshifter+, and TFT displays which have been firsts in the segment. Most importantly, these introductions have led to an upgrade in the technology landscape of Indian motorcycles as well as the vendor ecosystem.
