Kawasaki Eliminator 450 Launched In India At Rs. 5.62 Lakh

Kawasaki officially launched the Eliminator 450 in India at the starting price of Rs. 5.62 Lakh. The Japanese manufacturer was expected to showcase the Eliminator 650 for the first time at last year’s India Bike Week but it didn’t happen. It’s been a busy year for Kawasaki as the company already launched the much-awaited Ninja ZX-6R in the Indian market. The Eliminator 450 is a proper cruiser motorcycle and it competes against Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 but the company pricing makes a lot of difference.

The design theme certainly makes it in line with another cruiser motorcycle as the company has given a round LED headlamp while the fuel tank gets a bigger design. The foot pegs are slightly forward-set and the company has given split seat set-up for the Eliminator 450. The instrument cluster also gets a circular design and it is loaded with information for the rider. With the help of the Rideology App, riders can get turn-by-turn navigation on the instrument cluster and motorcycle details can be accessed from the application too.

The Eliminator 450 uses a 451cc parallel-twin engine, an elongated version of the Ninja 400’s 399cc mill. Generating approximately 49bhp, the cruiser is equipped with a six-speed gearbox. Notable features include 32mm larger throttle bodies and a more capacious 5.8-litre airbox compared to the Ninja 400. The motorcycle is constructed on a robust steel trellis frame, rides on an 18-16-inch wheel combination, and is supported by telescopic forks and dual springs. Braking is facilitated by a single disc brake at both the front and rear ends.
