Jeep Wrangler Facelift India Launch On April 22

Jeep is going to introduce the facelift version of Wrangler in India on April 22. The Wrangler is one of the most popular off-road premium SUVs in the world and the SUV has created a cult fan following across the country too. Even though the facelift model was officially introduced one year ago in global markets the American manufacturer took some time to introduce it here. The Wrangler facelift model comes with minor exterior and interior tweaks as the model still looks fresh thanks to its design theme, which makes it stand out from the competition.

One of the key highlights of the Wrangler facelift model is its iconic seven-slats grille, which is slimmer than the outgoing version and is finished in black. Apart from this, the company has made slight changes to the bumper. On the side, the design theme has been carried over from the earlier model except for the alloy wheels as Jeep offers so many different options and tyre sizes are available up to 35 inches but we are not expecting the company to offer such hardcore options in the Indian market as most of the buyers consider it as a luxury SUV.

The interior design is carried over from the earlier model but the company has made some changes as the infotainment system is a 12.3-inch unit with the latest software and it is standard across variants while the AC vents on the centre console are positioned below them. The Wrange facelift model is loaded with features like wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-way adjustable driver seat, a new instrument cluster and more. The premium SUV is likely to be powered by the same 2.0 L petrol engine with 270 bhp of power and 400 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system.
