Jeep Meridian Entry-Level Variant Discontinued

Jeep discontinued the entry-level variant of Meridian as the SUV now starts with Limited (O) MT instead of Limited MT. The new Limited (O) price starts at Rs. 32.95 lakh (Ex-Showroom) which is much higher than earlier model and the SUV is now available in three variants – Limited (O), Limited Plus and X. Apart from these variants, the American manufacturer also offers Upland Limited Edition model.

The limited edition models was introduced sometime back and it will be on sale until the stock runs out. Jeep hasn’t made any changes for the Meridian since it’s launch apart from the launch of limited edition models. The SUV is only offered with a 2.0 L diesel engine with 170 hp of power and 350 Nm of torque as Jeep offers either two wheel drive or four wheel drive model.

The gearbox options include 6-speed manual and 9-speed automatic gearbox as the latter is available with both front wheel drive and four wheel drive systems. Some of the features on the Meridian includes 10.2 inch digital cluster, 10.1 inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 9-speed Alpine system, dual-zone climate control, 360 degree camera and more.
