Hyundai Exter Interior Revealed Ahead of Launch

Hyundai continues its lengthy teaser campaign of new Exter as the company has already revealed the front and rear design of the micro-suv, the interior images has been already leaked and now the Korean manufacturer has released the official images. The Exter is based on the Grand i10 NIOS and it is more evident on the interior that exterior as the dashboard design is same for both models.

But Hyundai has given all-black interior colour instead of dual-tone colour available on the NIOS. The infotainment system is the same 8-inch unit from NIOS but the Exter gets same digital instrument cluster from Verna and i20 with 4.2 inch MID in the middle. The steering wheel is also shared with the NIOS and the micro-suv gets integrated headrests for front seats and three pointed seat-belts for all passengers at rear.

Hyundai has also revealed the variant lineup – EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect trims. The SX (O) Connect Trims indicate that it might get the connected car tech and the features will be similar to the Venue. The Exter will be powered by an E20 complaint 1.2 L Kappa engine which already does duty on several models with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. The company will also offer CNG model from the launch onwards.
