Hyundai Creta Facelift Spied For The First Time

Hyundai Creta facelift has been spotted in India for the first time. The Creta is the best-selling model in its segment and the competition is heating up with the introduction of new models to maintain its number-one position the company is planning to introduce the updated model in India. The test mule spotted is heavily covered like most of the Hyundai prototypes to cover details but the model was already revealed a couple of years back. The facelift model of Creta is already on sale in many countries and the India-spec model could come with these changes.

One of the major changes is at the front with a new grille, which will be similar to Tucson along with updated headlamps and a new bumper. The company is not expected to make changes for the side except for the new alloy wheels while the rear gets new LED tail lamps which are likely to be connected and a new bumper. Hyundai could introduce some new color options as part of the package. Hyundai might also introduce an N-Line version of Creta in India as other version of it is popular among customers.

The interior could get a major makeover as the infotainment system might be updated along with new software. The instrument cluster will be changed to the one available on Alcazar. We can expect Hyundai to add some new features to lure buyers. The engine lineup on the Creta will be the same as the current model with 1.5 L turbo petrol, 1.5 L NA petrol, and 1.5 L diesel engine. These engines will be mated to automatic and manual gearboxes. Hyundai is also working on an EV version of Creta and it is also expected to be introduced with the facelift model in 2024.
