Honda To Launch NX500 In India Soon

Honda is planning to introduce the NX500 in India soon. According to new reports, the confirmation comes from a Honda BigWing dealer who has reached out to potential buyers with text messages, hinting at the imminent arrival of the ADV. The NX500 made its debut at EICMA 2023. The Honda NX500 is going to replace the CB500X in the brand’s adventure lineup. The NX500 gets a striking design, the bike features a larger fairing complemented by an LED headlamp and a windscreen. One of the standout features is the new 5-inch digital instrument console, offering Bluetooth connectivity for enhanced rider experience.

Under the hood, the NX500 is powered by a robust 471cc parallel-twin engine. Noteworthy upgrades include a crank counterweight and balancer shaft, aimed at enhancing the engine’s smoothness. With an output of 47 BHP and 43 Nm, the motorcycle promises a thrilling riding experience. Further contributing to improved performance, Honda has updated the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for better acceleration. In terms of suspension, the NX500 is equipped with a 41 mm Showa upside-down fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear.

The braking duties are taken care of by dual 296 mm discs up front and a single disc at the rear. The lightweight wheels not only enhance the bike’s aesthetics but also contribute to a reduction in unsprung weight by 1.5 kg, resulting in an overall weight loss of 3 kg. Honda is expected to announce the price of NX500 soon in the Indian market and we are expecting the company to price it par among competitors.
