Honda City Facelift To Come With New Blue Colour

Honda is gearing to launch the updated City facelift model in the Indian market and the company has already started dispatching the first batch to dealerships. The City facelift will be introduced in India with a new blue colour and it is expected to be available with the same colour options as earlier. The design changes for the facelift model are minor as the front gets a new grille along with redesigned bumper to give a fresh look to the sedan.

The designers haven’t made any changes on the side as the alloy wheels look similar to the current model. The changes to the rear are limited to the new bumper. Honda has also added a unique blue colour, and we expect all the colour options from the current model to be retained on the facelift version. The interior design is carried over from the pre-facelift model but the company will add some new features like ventilated seats, and updated software for infotainment to name a few.

The biggest update for the City is in the engine lineup as the sedan will be only available with petrol because the Japanese have decided to discontinue the diesel engine. To meet the new emission norms, Honda needs to invest a lot of money in diesel engines which is not worth it. The 1.5 L petrol engine produces 121 hp and the hybrid engine produces 126 PS. The non-hybrid comes with both manual and auto while the Hybrid comes only with an e-CVT gearbox.
