Ford India’s Re-Entry To Start With Launch Of New Endeavour

Ford is planning to begining it’s re-entry with the launch of Endeavour. Kay Hart, President of International Markets Group at Ford Motor Company, embarked on a crucial mission to engage with the Tamil Nadu Government, shedding light on the company’s future endeavors, particularly concerning the Maraimalai Nagar factory situated near Chennai.During her visit, Hart held pivotal discussions with government officials, meticulously outlining Ford’s strategic roadmap and seeking to align its objectives with the state’s vision.

The focal point of these deliberations revolved around the revitalization of the Chennai manufacturing facility, which had ceased vehicle production following Ford’s decision to exit the Indian market in 2021. An official spokesperson, when approached regarding Hart’s recent rendezvous, elucidated Ford’s profound gratitude towards the Tamil Nadu government for its unwavering support. Emphasizing the symbiotic relationship between the two entities, the spokesperson underscored Ford’s commitment to fostering economic growth by potentially generating 2,500-3,000 additional job opportunities within the next three years at its headquarters.
