By Citroen officially opened bookings for the new eC3 in India. The eC3 electric hatchback can be pre-booked with a token of Rs. 25,000. The price of the vehicle is not yet revealed but it is likely to be priced under 10 lakh for the base spec. The vehicle seems to have huge potential in the market and the pricing of the vehicle is really crucial. The pricing is the only thing that will from now on determines the future of the eC3. If the carmaker could price it aggressively the vehicle could largely become one of the best-selling electric hatchbacks in the country.
The vehicle was developed in a very short time and it will be starting its deliveries very shortly in the country probably by the end of February 2023. The eC3 is a good-looking vehicle with no bigger changes from the ongoing C3 Aircross ICE model. When it comes to the electric model the vehicle gives maximum space inside with a good practicality space at the boot with a full-size spare wheel and adequate boot space. The vehicle is a great car to be driven around cities and occasional highway drives.

The eC3 is powered by a 29.2 kWh battery pack that produces 56 BHP power and 143 Nm of torque. And It has an ARAI-certified range of 320 km. The EV can accelerate from 0 to 60 Km/h in 6.8 seconds. It supports regular and fast charging, using a fast charger it charges from 10 to 80 per cent in just 57 minutes, and using a regular 15 amp plug point it charges from 10 to 100 per cent in 10 hours and 30 minutes. The vehicle comes in 2 variants- live and feel and is also offered in 13 colours. The all-electric hatchback eC3 will rival the likes of the Tata Tiago EV.
