By Citroen has updated the colour options of the C3 and eC3 in India. The C3 and eC3 now come with four single-tone and seven dual-tone colour options available across the lineup. The French manufacturer has discontinued the zesty orange colour instead the C3 and eC3 is now available in Cosmo blue colour and they come with the option of dual-tone also. The four single-tone colours now available after the update are Polar White, Platinum Grey, Steel Grey, and Cosmo Blue. The bookings for the new colour are now open across the dealerships.
The C3 is now available in three variants – Live, Feel, and Shine. The hatchback comes with two engine options – 1.2 L naturally aspirated unit and 1.2 L turbo petrol engine. The 1.2 L naturally aspirated engine produces 80 bhp of power at 5750 rpm and 115 Nm of torque at 3750 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.2 L turbo petrol engine comes with 109 bhp of power at 5500 rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm. This engine is also mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Citroen eC3 is powered by a 29.2 kWh battery pack with 57 hp and 143 Nm. The claimed range is 320 Km and it can be topped up from 10-80 per cent charge in just 57 minutes using a DC charger. The company recently launched a new top-end variant with the eC3. One of the main additions is the new 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels along with faux front and rear skid plates, rear defogger, rear wash and wipe. The ec3 Shine variant also gets a rear camera and an electronically adjustable rear camera.
