Bajaj CNG Bike Spotted Testing Again

Bajaj is developing a lot of new motorcycles as we have seen several models on test in the last few months. The latest spy shots are the new CNG motorcycle from Bajaj. Recently the CNG motorcycle has been spotted alongside the Platina 110. What sets this CNG bike apart is its promising performance potential. While benchmarked against the Platina 110, the CNG variant aims to match the performance of a conventional 110cc petrol-powered bike. To achieve this, Bajaj might opt for a higher displacement engine, compensating for CNG’s lower power density compared to petrol.

The design theme of the motorcycle is different and it is done in such a way to integrate the CNG fuel tank. The elongated and flat seat profile accommodates the CNG cylinder beneath, hinting at clever space utilization. Moreover, a distinctive panel gap on the fuel tank suggests easy access to the CNG tank’s valve, ensuring user convenience. Functionality meets innovation with the inclusion of a blue switch on the left switchgear, speculated to toggle between CNG and petrol modes. This dual-mode capability, coupled with a smaller petrol tank, ensures uninterrupted riding experiences even when CNG runs out.

The CNG bike boasts a host of features aimed at enhancing rider comfort and control. From the fully digital LCD instrument console to the raised handlebar and mid-set footpegs promoting an upright riding posture, every detail reflects Bajaj’s commitment to rider-centric design. Safety remains paramount with a front disc and rear drum brake setup, telescopic fork, and monoshock ensuring optimal handling across diverse road conditions. The rugged aesthetics, underscored by braced handlebars and hand guards, exude confidence and durability. The launch is expected to take place by the middle of this year.
