Audi Q2 Removed From Official Website

Audi removed the entry-level Q2 from its official website. There was no official announcement from the brand regarding the delisting of the SUV from the website. Most likely the SUV has been pulled out from the brand’s India line-up. The newly launched Q3 is now the brand’s entry-level luxury SUV in the country. Audi’s Q range SUVs in India now offer Q3, Q5, Q7, and Q8. Audi Q2 was launched in India in October 2020.

The Q2 is built on the famous Volkswagens group’s versatile MQB platform. The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 187 Bhp and 320 Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with the Audis Quattro all-wheel drive system. The vehicle was completely CBU import to India and hence it was priced between Rs 34.99 lakh to Rs 48.89 Lakh ex-showroom.

Audi Q2 is delisted from the website may be because the SUV didn’t live up to the sales expectation despite not having a direct rival in the entry-level luxury segment. Earlier on February 2022, the carmaker said that the Audi Q2 will be discontinued after the model completes its current generation life cycle at the end of the 2023 model year, without a successor planned & due to poor sales. The company plans to shift focus to selling larger premium crossovers and SUVs. The Q2 will be discontinued Globally next year.
