While the teaser images released thus far have only offered a glimpse of its silhouette, enthusiasts are eager to believe that it indeed belongs to the RS440.
Drawing inspiration from its larger siblings, the RS660 and RSV4, the RS440 is expected to inherit their striking design language. The test mule has already revealed several design cues, including split LED headlights crowned by a transparent visor, showcasing its sporty character. The side panels and overall bodywork exude an aggressive and aerodynamic aura. Underneath its sleek exterior, the Aprilia RS440 is rumoured to pack a punch with a 440cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, possibly an under-bored iteration of the acclaimed RS660 powerplant. With an anticipated output of 48bhp, this agile machine is expected to boast a top speed of approximately 180kmph. The engine will be paired with a responsive six-speed gearbox and benefit from modern features like a slipper clutch and quick-shifter.
In terms of technology and features, the RS440 is poised to impress.
