2024 KTM 250 Duke Launched In India At Rs. 2.39 Lakh

KTM enthusiasts in India have reason to celebrate as the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer has unleashed the 2024 version of its iconic 250 Duke. This latest iteration represents the third generation of the quarter-litre streetfighter and brings with it a host of extensive updates that promise to elevate the riding experience to new heights. Priced at Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2024 KTM 250 Duke offers an enticing proposition, maintaining a similar price point to its predecessor despite significant enhancements. The list of improvements is extensive, starting with the inclusion of a ride-by-wire throttle system, a slipper clutch, and a quick shifter. A notable addition is the 5-inch LCD display, which is Bluetooth-enabled and provides turn-by-turn navigation, enhancing both convenience and safety.

The aesthetics of the 250 Duke have also undergone a transformation, drawing inspiration from its powerhouse sibling, the 1290 Super Duke. The front fascia exudes a more menacing and radical appearance, while the muscular fuel tank section boasts sharper extensions. The motorcycle’s new die-cast aluminium sub-frame contributes to a sleek and modern tail section. Under the hood, KTM engineers have completely redesigned the engine. The optimized cylinder head and gearbox, along with a larger airbox, hint at improved performance. While the exact power and torque figures remain undisclosed, the previous model churned out 29.6bhp and 24Nm from its 248.7cc engine.

The chassis of the 2024 KTM 250 Duke has not been overlooked. It boasts an all-new steel trellis frame paired with an off-set monoshock, a curved swingarm, new 17-inch alloys, and lighter brakes. These modifications collectively enhance the bike’s power-to-weight ratio, promising a more thrilling and dynamic ride. For those eager to get their hands on this revamped KTM masterpiece, the 2024 250 Duke is available in two captivating colors – Electronic Orange and Ceramic White. Official bookings for this exciting model are open at a price of Rs 4,499, offering enthusiasts the opportunity to experience KTM’s latest engineering marvel.
