2024 Kawasaki Z650RS Launched In India, Price Starts At Rs. 6.99 Lakh

Kawasaki officially launched the 2024 Z650RS in India at the starting price of Rs. 6.99 Lakh (Ex-Showroom) and when we compared the price of the outgoing model, the price has increased by Rs. 7000. One of the major new updates for the new Z650RS is the introduction of new Ebony Metallic Matte Carbon Gray. Apart from this, the Japanese manufacturer is finally offering the Z650RS with a switchable traction control and it is offered with two different modes. Most of the competitors were already offering it.

The first mode on the traction control is for aggressive riding style as the electronics don’t interfere much with the riding while the second mode is for a bit more relaxed riding. We haven’t ridden the motorcycle yet to truly understand how the system works in real life. The design theme of the Z650RS is modern yet classic as the headlamp design is circular and the company has given a full LED unit. The fuel tank gets a simple design while the company has given a single seat design which is flat and wide.

The rear gets an LED tail lamp and the Z650RS comes with an 800 mm seat height which makes it accessible for most Indian riders. The instrument cluster is a mix of analogue and digital. Kawasaki Z650RS is powered by a 649 cc parallel twin-cylinder engine producing 68 bhp and 64 Nm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and comes with a slipper and assist clutch. The braking duties are taken care of by dual 286 mm discs at the front and a single 172 mm disc at the rear. The Z650RS compete against the Triumph Trident 660.
