By Husqvarna has officially taken wraps off the 2024 Vitpilen 250 and it is priced at Rs. 2.19 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). Like its bigger sibling, the Vitpilen 250 is also based on the KTM 250 Duke. The design of the Vitpilen 250 is an evolution from its predecessor. The signature round LED headlight with LED DRL and the white-colored almost flat-panelled tank cover are a signature design theme of the Husqvarna. The unified side and tail panels give a sleeker appearance, departing from the split-panel design of the previous generation of the Vitpilen.
Some of the main design changes include the front fender, single-piece seat, copper-bronze finishing on engine cases and fuel cap, fluorescent-coloured stripe, and eye-catching alloy wheels. The bike’s overall larger profile enhances its attractiveness and uniqueness. In terms of features, the Vitpilen 250 boasts a 5-inch LCD, traction control, ride-by-wire, Quickshifter +, switchable ABS, and a convenient Type-C charging port. The technological upgrades make it not just visually appealing but also technologically advanced.
The Vitpilen 250 is powered by 249.07cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine generating 30.57bhp at 9,500rpm and 25Nm at 7500rpm, mated to a smooth six-speed gearbox. The ground clearance sees a 25mm increase to 177mm, while the riding position is improved with a more accessible seat height of 820mm and it will make a huge difference while riding. The pillion seat height has been reduced, and the seat length increased, making it more spacious. The fuel tank capacity has been upped to 13.5 litres, and the kerb weight stands at 163.8kg. The suspension duties are taken care by a 43mm USD fork at the front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. The braking system features a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, ensuring optimal control and safety.
