By Bajaj is updating the entire portfolio of Pulsar models as they have already launched the NS160 and NS200 in the Indian market. According to new reports, Bajaj is planning to introduce the Pulsar N250 in India next month as the model has been already spotted testing on Indian roads. The spy pictures have already confirmed that the Pulsar N250 will come with upside-down forks instead of the conventional telescopic forks of the current model. The company is also expected to introduce the upside-down forks on the F250 as both these models are the same except for the design.
The 250 series of Pulsar models are priced attractively but when compared to the competition, the features are very minimal even though riding dynamics are good. Bajaj is planning to introduce Bluetooth connectivity and it is expected to make its debut with the Pulsar N150. The current analogue and digital console is likely to be replaced by a fully digital cluster and it could be a TFT screen on premium models like the N250. Some of the features expected are music controls, turn-by-turn navigation and more.
Bajaj Pulsar N250 is powered by a 249 cc oil-cooled engine producing 24.1 bhp of power at 8,750 rpm and 21.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The braking duties are taken care of by a 300 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear. Bajaj offers dual-channel ABS on the Pulsar N250. The company is likely to increase prices with the addition of USD forks. The first batch of Pulsar N250 is expected to reach dealerships early next month and deliveries will begin soon after the launch.
