By Lexus has unveiled the all-new RX SUVs the RX 350h and RX 500 h in the country at the auto expo 2023. Lexus is considered as the only premium brand in the auto expo and it showcased a variety of vehicles. The newly Unveiled RX SUV is confirmed to launch in India by March 2023. The model unveiled is the fifth generation of the RX SUV. And it gets a lot of features and added more luxury. The vehicle is a perfect Miss of sportiness and luxury. The vehicle carries over the signature design language of a Lexus with the spindle grille. The styling of the vehicle looks compact and more appealing with the body characteristics.
The RX SUV is one of the most beautiful vehicle showcased at the autoexpo. The front fascia of the vehicle is dominated by the signature Lexus x shaped spindle grille and the headlights get a very slimmer design, over the bumper and hood get sharp lines making it more sporty. Over the side the vehicle looks sporty with its body lines and slopping roof rails. The rear gets the similar design of the previous gen RX SUV. The RX 500h F performance variant will get different treatment with the exterior of the vehicle all the chrome elements in the front will be replaced by piano black finish. And it also get F F-Sport emblem on the front fenders. Over the Interior the vehicle gets a very comprehensive cabin that is driver centric. The fifth generation RX SUV adopts the interior theme of connecting the people inside with the car. Hence the Lexus has integrated controls for the head-up display into the steering wheel. The RX also gets a 14-inch touchscreen in the infotainment system with wireless charging and Apple CarPlay, but gets tethered Android Auto. Lexus is offering a choice of three interior colours – Black, Dark Sepia and Solis White – and two trim options that include sumi woodgrain and medium bamboo brown. The RX also gets a panoramic sunroof.
The Lexus RX 350h Hybrid will be powered by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder engine paired with a hybrid transaxle and a rear E-Four electric motor. The SUV can churn out 247 hp paired with an electrically controlled variable transmission. The SUV can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.9 seconds.The Lexus RX 500h F-Sport Performance comes with the automaker’s first hybrid electric system which combines the high torque 2.4-litre turbocharged engine with an e-Axle rear unit. It is claimed to be the most powerful RX with 366 hp and 460 N of torque on offer. It can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds. The vehicle is confirmed to launch by March 2023. And bookings have already started across the country. The vehicle rivals with the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, Audi Q7 and Land Rover Discovery Sport.
