2022 The Best Year Of Mercedes Benz In India

2022 was one of the best years of Mercedes Benz in India. The Managing director and CEO Mr Santhosh Iyer conveyed that 2022 was a transformative year. The company strongly stands in the position as the market leader for eight consecutive years. It is a great achievement for the brand to hold its position for so long in one of the highest competitive markets in the world. Mercedes-Benz India could achieve this massive success of being the most loved luxury brand in the country with their very effective marketing and customer value services. That largely gives the most priority to the needs and wants of the market and implements it in the best way possible.

The year 2022 can be considered a year of post covid where the country and all over the world getting their foot back firmly on work and Mercedes Benz did it in the best way. The carmaker achieved the highest-ever domestic production in a single year. This was made possible by the very flexible production facility of Mercedes Benz at Pune which is highly flexible enough to manufacture both ICE and EV. The carmaker was able to manufacture its flagship EV EQS in India after its domestic plant in Germany. Not only the flexible production facility but also the large retail network of the carmaker contributed to its growth in the country and hence the retail network was expanded to 7 cities across India in the year 2022.

Mercedes Benz India takes care of its customers as no manufacturers do. In 2022 Mercedes Benz gave its customers money can’t buy opportunities. The customers were given chances from Mercedes paddle club experiences to Mercedes trophy participation leading to international finals. The Mercedes gave an opportunity for sports enthusiasts to meet the F1 champion, Lewis Hamilton. And also an interactive event with the Indian cricketer MS Dhoni. The love of the customers is conveyed in the fact that. In 2022, the brand increased its market share by 50.6 per cent. The brand achieved the best-ever sales in history with 15822 unit sales which is a robust growth of 41 per cent. Mercedes Benz India marks this as a historic achievement of the brand. The brand also has seen very significant growth in the top-end luxury segment of 69 per cent. This success can be further improved this year with a better supply chain and resolving the semiconductor issues. The CEO and Managing director conveyed that the brand has achieved 2000+ online booking of vehicles, which is a very significant achievement for the brand in history and shows what the future will look like.

The year 2022 was not only the best year of sales. The brand is also number one in the connected car, has the largest portfolio of made-in-India luxury cars, the largest SUV portfolio of a total of 14 luxury SUVs, and the largest retail network for a luxury brand spread across 47 Indian cities with 124 touch points. Mercedes Benz India bought some great vehicles to India in 2022. The year was begun with the Mercedes Maybach S class and the introduction of the E class Facelift followed that the luxury car maker launching the baby S class which is the C class, latter to that the brand launched the electric flagship EQS and the year was well finished with the launches of the GLB and EQB SUVs.
