By Volvo is expanding its EV portfolio in India with its second model C40 Recharge and the Swedish maker has officially revealed the model in the Indian market but the launch will take place couple of months time which is around August as it is during festival season that most buyers tend to shop for new models. The C40 Recharge is based on the XC40 Recharge.
The only difference between both models is the styling as XC40 Recharge is an SUV while the C40 is basically the coupe version based on it. The change in styling start towards the rear with coupe like styling for the roof along with new C-Shape LED tail lamps and a new spoiler. The 19-inch alloy wheels along with LED headlamps and closed grille are same for both models.
The interior is again the same as XC40 Recharge with a 9-inch infotainment system which is used to control almost everything on the cabin along with 12.3 inch instrument cluster. Volvo has packed the C40 Recharge with features like 360-degree camera, leather seats, dual-zone AC, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring system, parking assist, airbags, ABS with EBD and more.
