By Hero is planning to introduce an update for the Xtreme 160R as the Indian manufacturer has released a new teaser which doesn’t reveal much but we can see several new additions. The biggest update for the Xtreme 160R is the introduction of 4-valve technology replacing the current 2-valve as it will improve overall performance of the motorcycle especially the top-end.
The current engine is adequate for city and occasional highway runs but struggles at the top-end. Some reports have indicated oil-cooler but it’s not confirmed. Hero will introduce upside down forks on the updated Xtreme and we could some changes on the dynamics thanks to new suspension. Apart from this, the Xtreme 160R might get bluetooth connectivity and the launch will take place on 14th June.
