Toyota Fortuner Prices Witness an Increment

In a recent development, Toyota has decided to raise the prices of its popular SUV, the Fortuner. This price hike affects both the 4×2 and 4×4 variants, with different increments depending on the model. For those interested in the 4×2 variants, which comprise the Petrol MT, Petrol AT, Diesel MT, and Diesel AT versions, the price has been raised by Rs 44,000. This means that the base model, the Petrol MT, will now start at Rs 33.43 lakh (ex-showroom).

However, if you are an adventure enthusiast and prefer the 4×4 versions of the Fortuner, you will need to shell out an extra Rs 70,000. The 4×4 Diesel MT variant is now priced at Rs 40.03 lakh, while the 4×4 Diesel AT version comes in at Rs 42.32 lakh. Even the high-performance Fortuner GR-S hasn’t been spared from the price hike, with a substantial increase of Rs 70,000, pushing its ex-showroom price to Rs 51.44 lakh. The Toyota Fortuner offers two powertrain options for customers to choose from.

The 2.7-liter petrol engine generates 164 BHP and 245 Nm of torque, while the 2.8-liter diesel engine offers a more robust performance with 201 BHP and 500 Nm of torque. Both engines can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, providing buyers with flexibility in their choice. This price increment reflects changing market dynamics and increased input costs, but the Fortuner continues to be a strong contender in the competitive SUV segment, offering performance and ruggedness that are highly sought after by enthusiasts and families alike.
