By Royal Enfield is expected to introduce the much-awaited Himalayan 450 in the Indian market soon as the prototypes have been extensively spotted across the country. The latest set of spy shots reveals the instrument cluster of the Himalayan 450 and it is different from the current model. The Himalayan 450 gets a single cluster which includes a large analogue tachometer with a central digital screen displaying the speedometer and gear position indicator.
The fuel gauge along with trip information is likely to be displayed on the second digital display placed at the bottom of the cluster. We certainly hope that Royal Enfield addresses the fuel gauge issue as it varies a lot depending on the angle. The navigation console on the current Himalayan might be offered on the 450 as an option. The cluster is positioned at a good angle so that it could be visible to the rider easily and it might get some Bluetooth connectivity features too.
