By The first 718 Cayman GT4 RS in India is delivered by Porsche Kochi. The GT4 RS made its debut in the country on January 25, 2023. However, very soon after its India debut Porche Kochi grabbed the vehicle and delivered the first vehicle to the customer. The 718 Cayman is the range-topper in the 718 series which is built track ready. The machine has the pure DNA of Porsche and Porsche racing. However, Porsche Kochi is considered to be the best Porsche centre in India and it is surely meant to be right that the Porche Kochi gives colours to the Porsche dreams of many people in and around the state.
The track-focused GT4 RS got onto the Indian roads from the Kochi Porsche centre. The excitement and joy of the vehicle are seen with all enthusiasts in the country on its India debut. The most exciting part of the car is its engine. Unlike other 718s, GT4 RS is further upgraded to give more power and to move faster. The performance of the vehicle is upgraded to 500 bhp and 450 Nm of torque. To make the car go faster Porsche has managed to reduce the vehicle’s weight by using carbon fibre-reinforced plastic for the bonnet and front wings. and a lighter rear windscreen.
The GT4 RS comes with a swan-necked rear wing, new air vents, an adjustable front diffuser, and a 30mm lower ride height compared to the standard 718 Cayman which makes the car sportier and sleek look with a soft and wide stance. The rear quarter glass has been swapped for enhanced engine airflow, resulting in a better soundtrack. The vehicle is priced at 2.54 crore (ex-showroom). And it is worth all the money.
