By Porsche has successfully completed 75 years of making great driving machines globally and to celebrate this milestone achievement Porsche is hosting the ‘Festival of Dreams’ in the country on January 25 2023. On this special occasion, Porsche will debut another beautiful driving machine the 718 Cayman GT4 RS. This is the first India-bound unit of the track-focussed Cayman GT4 RS. Not only just the debut of the vehicle, but Porsche is also set to showcase its full Indian Line-up at the event. The ‘Festival of Dream’ is actually the dream of many enthusiasts to see Porsche with its all pride along with the Exclusive Manufaktur department.
The ‘Festival of Dream’ is an opportunity wide open to witness the magic of Porsche not only to a closed group of invited people but it is open to the whole public completely free of cost. People can register through the official website and participate in the event. The event will showcase the possibilities endless of Porsche customization that include different paint schemes on both interior and exterior with different optional materials used. There will also be a section that includes Porsche’s official accessories.
The 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the range-topper in its lineup. The vehicle is powered by a flat-six 4.0-litre naturally aspirated engine that produces a maximum power of 496 bhp and 480 Nm of torque and Porsche says it can sprint from 0-100 in 3.4 seconds. Paired only with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic PDK transmission, it has a top speed of 315kph. Porsche has made the GT4 RS lighter by using carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic for the bonnet and front wings and a lighter rear windscreen.
The GT4 RS comes with a swan-necked rear wing, new air vents, an adjustable front diffuser and a 30mm lower ride height compared to the standard 718 Cayman which makes the car sportier and sleek look with a soft and wide stance. The rear quarter glass has been swapped for enhanced airflow to the engine, which results in a better soundtrack. The car comes with a lot of advanced technologies that help the driver in all kinds of situations to be a better guy on wheels.
