Despite riding on the same TNGA-K platform as its predecessor, the 2025 model introduces a reworked suspension system, featuring new shocks and revised tuning. Toyota promises “enhanced responsiveness and agile handling,” elevating the driving experience. Visually, the 2025 Camry maintains the eighth-gen model’s recognizable design, characterized by a commanding lower front grille and slender headlights. Notable enhancements include standard LED headlamps, running lights, and taillights, with new paint options like Ocean Gem and Heavy Metal joining the existing palette.
The XSE model stands out with a body-color lower fascia, black trunk trim, and striking 19-inch wheels. For a touch of personalization, it offers a Midnight Black Metallic roof paired with various body colors. Inside, the Camry boasts a modern tech suite, featuring a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.0-inch infotainment screen. The XLE and XSE elevate the experience with expansive 12.3-inch displays, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a convenient wireless charging pad.
Safety takes centre stage with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite, encompassing advanced features like pre-collision systems, adaptive cruise control, and lane-departure assist. The XLE and XSE models offer an optional Premium Plus Package, introducing innovative elements such as traffic-jam assist, front cross-traffic alert, and a panoramic view monitor. Under the hood, the 2025 Camry offers a hybrid powertrain coupling a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with electric motors. The front-drive variant delivers 225 horsepower, while the AWD version, equipped with a third motor-generator, boosts total output to 232 hp. Both configurations employ an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT) for seamless performance. While Toyota is yet to disclose the lithium-ion battery’s capacity, the 2025 Camry’s hybrid system promises an eco-friendly driving experience, setting the stage for a new era in the iconic model’s legacy.
