Maruti Suzuki officially introduced the third-generation Dzire in 2017 and since then the company introduced a minor update for the compact sedan. The Dzire is the sedan version of the Swift hatchback and now the Japanese manufacturer has taken the wraps of the fourth-generation Swift globally. The company has already begun development of the sedan version and here is a digital rendering of the next-generation Dzire sedan. The overall design theme is going to be evolutionary compared to the current model.
Suzuki followed the same design philosophy for the hatchback also. The front gets new headlamps along with redesigned LED DRLs and the grille could likely be completely different than the current model. The designers will also update the design theme of the bumper. On the side, we are not expecting anything major as the overall body shape could be the same but the alloy wheels design is new. The rear gets LED tail lamps and a new bumper. We can expect, Maruti Suzuki to introduce some new colour options with the Dzire.
The interior design theme is shared with the new-generation Swift as the major change is going to be the introduction of a bigger touchscreen infotainment system which is placed on the top of the dashboard and it could get the latest software of the company. Some of the features of the new Dzire could be a 360-degree camera, semi-digital instrument cluster, radar-based driver assistance systems and more. The upcoming Dzire is likely to be powered by a new Z-Series 1.2 L petrol engine and it will be mated to manual and automatic gearbox options.
