New Hyundai Verna Production Starts In India

Hyundai is all set to introduce the next-generation Verna in March. According to new reports and leaked images, the company has commenced the production of Verna at its Chennai plant. We expect the first batch to reach dealerships by the end of next month before the launch. The new Verna is completely different than the outgoing model as the design theme is inspired of the bigger models like Elantra and Sonata.

The Verna will be the first car in its segment to come with level-II ADAS features and it will make a big impact in the market. Hyundai will offer the Verna in four trim options – EX, S, SX, and SX(O). Hyundai will offer the Verna with 7-monotone colour and two dual-tone options. The engine options for the new Verna will meet the upcoming emission norms and there will be four engine options including the new 1.5 L turbo petrol engine with manual and DCT. Hyundai is expected to reveal the new Verna soon in the Indian market.
