New BMW M3 Entry Model With Manual Gearbox Hit 290 Kph On Autobahn

BMW M cars are known for their performance and handling but one car come to our mind when we think about the high-performance cars from the kidney grille and it is the M3. The M3 has a huge fan following across the world which is why BMW took lots of time to fine-tune the model as it has lots of expectations to meet. BMW revealed the much-awaited new M3 and M4 with a radical design theme especially for the front with that big kidney grille.

The videos of the new M3 has started to come online and here is one of those videos, which shows the performance on a derestrict part of the Autobahn. The M3 in question is the entry-level model with a manual gearbox as BMW won’t offer the Competition model with a manual gearbox as it won’t be able to handle the power. The M3 is powered by a 3.0 L inline six-cylinder engine producing 473 hp of power and 550 Nm of Torque.

The Competition on the other hand gets the same engine but the engineers have managed to produce more power as the power output stands at 503 hp and 650 Nm. The automatic gearbox is a single-clutch 8-speed unit from ZF. In this video, we can see that how effortlessly the M3 can reach high speeds as the engine pulls strongly even from 100 kph to 200 kph under 10-sec, which is really impressive and the stability on those speeds are excellent.

Usually, the M3 is restricted to 250 kph but customers can choose to unlock and this particular is such a model as the top speed on the video is 290 kph. We think it can easily hit more than 300 kph easily and could reach as fast as may be an M5. Currently, BMW is offering the M3 with rear-wheel drive only but they are planning to introduce a four-wheel model soon as it will be a better practical model especially in Europe. We might get the M3 and M4 sometime early next year.
