Maruti Suzuki Recalled Grand Vitara, Brezza And Baleno Over 17000 Units

Maruti Suzuki has recalled over 17000 units of Grand Vitara, Brezza and Baleno. The manufacturer stated that the recalling is due to a faulty airbag controller. This is the first recall in the country in this year. However Maruti Suzuki has been found recalling it’s vehicles many times over safety features. The manufacturer has recalled over 9000 units of its vehicles due to a possible defect on the child part of the front seats. And also the manufacturer has recalled Wagon R, Ignis and celerio in the month of October over defect in rear brake assembly pin. It is really good that the manufacturer is taking the steps to rectify the factory defaults. But more defaults in the safety side of the vehicle should be taken care at the production stage.

The manufacturer has recalled 17362 units of Grand Vitara, Brezza, and Baleno. The recall is been affected only the units that are manufactured between December 8 2022 and January 12, 2023. The vehicles shall be inspected and replaced the airbag controller unit completely free of cost. The manufacturer stated that the affected vehicle shall be called from the workshop to fix the issue. And also the carmaker has cautioned users to not use or drive their vehicles until those affected are contacted by the workshops, and the part is replaced. Maruti being the largest manufacturer in the country should take care of such defaults at the production stage. Other manufacturers in the country are taking the most priority in the safety of the car. And the customer expects a good nondefault car from Maruti Suzuki. It is not just a job it is the duty of any manufacturer.
