Mahindra Bolero Crash Test Results To Be Revealed Soon

Mahindra Bolero is one of the best-selling SUVs in the Indian market as the model is extremely popular in rural parts of the country. We have seen several Bolero’s which are used in harsh environments and it survives without any problem, the versatile nature of the SUV made it extremely popular among customers. The Bolero is not known for its high-tech safety features as utility takes the front seat rather than premium features even though it comes with basic safety features as part of the standard package.

According to a new report, the Global NCAP has recently crash tested the Bolero. Even though Bharat NCAP is active now, the Global NCAP has already crash tests of several models and they are yet to be published. The report further indicate that the Bolero has very poor rating but it doesn’t specify the number of stars but we are not expecting any thing major as the Bolero doesn’t get seat-belt for all passengers and the third row gets jump seats, which are not good for safety and it will definitely impact the final score.

The overall structural strength along with other key things are put to test. Most of the new generation models of Mahindra have performed really well especially the XUV 700 and new Scorpio. As the company has been focusing on safety but the Boleor is an old model and it could be one of the reasons for the poor rating. Global NCAP is likely to officially announce the Bolero crash test rating in this week. But the targeted customers won’t be bothered as there are currently no other alternative options for the Bolero.
