KTM Cup Season 2 Officially Announced

KTM officially announced the second season of the KTM Cup. With the launch of KTM CUP Season 2 scheduled to kick off with the first round of selections in Coimbatore on March 22nd, 2024, the second season of the KTM CUP marks a significant milestone in India’s racing landscape. Hosted by KTM Pro-XP, this championship aims to provide riders with curated experiences that elevate them to the status of professionals. Building upon the resounding success of Season 1, which saw over 1,000 racers from all corners of India participating both on the circuit and online, Season 2 promises even greater thrills and challenges. It underscores KTM’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the racing spirit in India and providing a platform for riders to showcase their skills.

In a bid to cater to diverse skill levels and interests, Season 2 introduces three distinct categories: PROS, WOMEN, AND AMATEURS. This ensures that participants compete on a level playing field and have the opportunity to shine in their respective domains. The pinnacle of success in Season 2 awaits the top three winners, who will earn an exclusive chance to train with MotoGP™ legends and former Grand Prix winners at the iconic Red Bull Ring in Salzburg, Austria. Additionally, one fortunate winner will secure an internship opportunity with Powerdrift, further fueling their passion for motorsports. With the races presided over by esteemed figures such as Jeremy McWilliams, a seasoned MotoGP racer, and supported by Emmanuel Jebaraj, a stalwart of Indian racing, the stage is set for an electrifying spectacle.

Speaking on the occasion, Sumeet Narang, President (Probiking) at Bajaj Auto Ltd., said, “The second season of the  KTM CUP is KTM’s effort to breed racing into KTM owners. We had an excellent first season and witnessed tremendous response with over 1,000 proud KTM owners being a part of the championship. We are quite proud to say that racing is core to the DNA of KTM, and in the last 70 years of racing, KTM has won 341+ world championship titles across all racing formats like Dakar, MotoGP, Motocross (MX), Supercross (SX), Enduro. This season, we welcome women and amateur riders, keeping our promise of turning ambitious amateur riders into pro-bikers, with this platform.
