By Jeep officially launched the much-awaited Compass 4×2 automatic variant in India at the starting price of Rs. 23.99 lakh (Ex-Showroom). Among the notable changes are a new grille and fresh alloy wheel designs. Jeep also added a new special edition variant – Black Shark Edition. This special variant boasts an all-black interior with Ignite red accents, creating a striking contrast that exudes luxury. The exterior is equally impressive, featuring a glossy black grille, lower fascia, flares, and cladding, along with stunning gloss black 18-inch wheels, elevating the Compass BlackShark to a new level of distinction.
The exterior design of the Jeep Compass has also been refreshed, combining premium craftsmanship with the brand’s iconic styling. Advanced LED lighting technology, including front LED reflector headlamps and LED taillamps, comes standard on all models, with premium LED projector headlamps available on the Model S and LED fog lamps available on the Longitude and above trims. The special-edition BlackShark model, based on the well-appointed Limited trim, offers a distinctive look with a body-color painted roof and lower cladding, 18-inch black-gloss painted wheels, black leatherette seats, unique ignite red highlights, and BlackShark badging on the fenders.
Under the hood, the 2024 Jeep Compass continues to deliver legendary performance across its entire lineup. The 2.0 Multijet II diesel engine, is mated to a nine-speed transmission, producing 173 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The transmission is tuned to maximize performance and fuel economy, making it ideal for both city and highway driving. Safety is a top priority for the new Compass, with advanced systems that assess road conditions for optimal engagement and stopping distances. Inside the cabin, the 2024 Compass offers next-generation technology, including an available 10.25-inch frameless full-color TFT digital cluster, one of the largest in its segment. Standard on all trims is a 10.1-inch digital infotainment touchscreen, ensuring a seamless and modern connectivity experience.
