Hyundai Exter Interior Leaked, Inspired From Grand i10

Hyundai is going to launch the Exter next month in the Indian market but the company is yet to reveal the interior but now they have been leaked ahead of the official debut. The interior is similar to what we have seen on the Grand i10 as the dashboard gets an 8-inch touch screen with shortcut buttons placed on either side for quick access and the rectangular AC vents placed below it.

The instrument cluster is completely digital and shared with the Verna but we would have liked the analogue set of the Grand i10 NIOS. The steering wheel is the typical three-spoke unit we have seen on other Hyundai models. The Exter will come with cruise control along with climate control, a multi-function starting wheel, electrically adjustable mirrors, a sunroof, rear AC vents to name few.

Hyundai has also revealed the variant lineup – EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect trims. The SX (O) Connect Trims indicate that it might get the connected car tech and the features will be similar to the Venue. The Exter will be powered by an E20 complaint 1.2 L Kappa engine which already does duty on several models with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. The company will also offer CNG model from the launch onwards.
