Hyundai Creta EV and ICE To Get Different Designs

Hyundai Creta EV and ICE To Get Different Designs

Hyundai is developing the Creta EV and the model has been spotted several times in India but the test mules were all based on the current-generation Creta as these are early prototypes. The charging port for the early test mule was placed under the hood and the styling was exactly the same as the ICE version. Now the Creta EV has been spotted again but this time in Korea and the model looks completely different as the front and rear get a completely new design theme which will definitely make both models stand apart.

The Creta EV is expected to make its global debut sometime next year and this could be an advanced test mule. To make people misunderstand the company has added exhaust to the test mule. According to new reports, the Creta EV could feature a similar design theme to other new-generation Hyundai models like Santa Fe, Venue and Palisade. The headlamps are placed conventionally and get two LED DRLs while the grille is closed and the bumper is also new while most of the parts are completely covered to hide details.

The rear also gets new LED tail lamps and the design theme is similar to the front headlamps. The reflectors are placed on the edge of the bumper and the faux skid plates give an SUV look. The interior is also expected to be different from the current model with EV-specific features like a new instrument cluster and infotainment system. We are not sure about the battery pack but some reports indicate that the Creta EV could come with a battery pack from Kona. As we near the launch, Hyundai will release more details of the Creta.
