Honda City Facelift To Get ADAS Features, Launch Next Month

Honda is gearing up to launch the City facelift in India next month. According to reports, the company has begun dispatch of the updated City and some dealers have already received the initial batch. The launch is expected to take place in the early month and the official bookings are to commence the same day. The new reports suggest that the booking amount is Rs. 21,000 and Rs. 5000 if booking online but the official amount could be different.

The City facelift is available in 9 variants and the company will introduce a new entry-level variant SV, which is expected to be priced aggressively with more features. The variant lineup is SV, V, VX and ZX, which come with a 6-speed gearbox as standard and V, VX and ZX, these variants get the option of a CVT gearbox. The Hybrid option of the City will be available with a new V variant along with the top-end ZX, which comes with all the bells and whistles.

Honda will offer the City facelift with ADAS features for the first time, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and autonomous emergency braking, while some other safety features include TPMS, 6-airbags, ORVM-mounted lane-watch cameras, a multi-angle rear-view camera, vehicle stability and more. The engine options for the new City will be the same and the official launch is expected to take place next month.
