By Honda officially launched the much-awaited updated Activa christined as 6G H at Rs. 74,536 (Ex-Showroom). The Activa is been one of the most sold scooters in the country and it has seen many generations in its lifetime. The new Honda H Smart is based on the sixth generation Activa and it is available in 3 different variants – standard, deluxe and smart which are priced at Rs 74,536, Rs 77,036, and Rs 80,537 ex-showroom respectively. The scooter remains unchanged mechanically but features a lot of keyless connectivity which makes it smart.
The scooter comes with an electronic key fob like in a car. The smart connectivity of the vehicle helps to locate the scooter by flashing all indicators at the switch of a button, the scooter can be started by just flipping the switch located where the key slot would be found normally. The smart connectivity features also help to open the seat, fuel lid and handlebar lock and unlock with just a press of a button. The vehicle is updated very smartly with modern tech and features that were never imagined in a 110 cc scooter. On the looks, the scooter looks standard the only thing that differentiates it from the regular ones are the alloy wheels.
The Activa continues to use the BS6-compliant 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. Other features retained from the standard variant include a silent start system and a combined braking system. It will also retain hardware such as telescopic front forks, a single-rear spring, and drum brakes on both wheels. The scooter will start arriving at the dealerships by the end of January 2022.
