Hero Xude Design Leak Reveals Exciting New Scooter

Hero has recently piqued the curiosity of motorcycle enthusiasts with the registration of a brand new moniker – Hero Xude. However, what has truly set the rumor mill spinning is the leak of a design patent that hints at an exciting addition to their lineup. The design patent showcases a scooter, which, by all indications, seems to be a new 125cc variant, intended to take its place above the Hero Xoom. This intriguing revelation gains even more credibility when we cast our minds back to a few months ago when a camouflaged scooter was spotted undergoing tests near the Hero MotoCorp R&D centre in Jaipur.

The discerning eye would notice the resemblance to the Xoom in its body panels. This leads us to believe that the mystery scooter seen during testing is none other than the highly anticipated Hero Xude, set to enter the competitive 125cc segment. The leaked patent design offers a tantalizing glimpse into the scooter’s aesthetics. Sporting a sleek front profile with a split headlight cluster, stylish alloy wheels, an expansive and flat footboard, a generously proportioned seat, and split grab handles at the rear, Hero seems to be pulling out all the stops to ensure a visually appealing and ergonomic design. To further differentiate the Xude, it’s expected to feature an array of cutting-edge technologies, including the Xtec system, a digital cluster with smartphone connectivity, and more.

While Hero MotoCorp already offers the 125cc engine option in the form of the Maestro Edge and Destini, the specific specifications for the Xude remain shrouded in mystery. It’s anticipated that the new scooter will be powered by the same 125cc engine, delivering 9 HP at 7000 RPM and 10.4 Nm at 5500 RPM. However, it remains to be seen whether Hero will fine-tune this engine to cater to the Xude’s unique character. Excitement is building as the Indian two-wheeler giant is expected to unveil the Hero Xude towards the end of this year or early in the following year. What do you think of the design and the name? Share your thoughts and expectations in the comments section, as the Hero Xude’s impending launch is poised to be a significant event for motorcycle enthusiasts.
