By Hero officially launched the updated Xtreme 200S 4V in the Indian market at Rs. 1.41 Lakh (Ex-Showroom). The Xtreme 200S is the last model in Hero’s 200cc segment to updated as they have given the new engine for all other models. The major change for the new Xtreme 200S 4V is the engine as cosmetic changes are minor as it is one of the nieche models in the segment which is dominated by TVS and Yamaha.
The Xtreme 200S 4V is powered by the new 199.6cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled producing 19.1 hp of power and 17.35 Nm of torque. The new updates for the engine has helped Hero to improve overall power compared to the 18.05 hp of power and 16.45 Nm torque on the earlier 2V model. This engine is mated to 5-speed gearbox and Hero has confirmed that the gearing is different on the new model.
Apart from these updates, Hero has added connectivity features on the new model as it comes with Bluetooth connectivity along with turbo by turn navigation and the new instrument cluster which can be connected via Bluetooth also. Hero has added three new colours on the 200S 4V – Moon Yellow, Panther Black Metallic and Matt Axis Gray Metallic. We will soon bring you a detailed review of Xtreme 200S 4V.
