Hero Karizma XMR Price To Be Increased From October 1

Hero officially launched the new Karizma XMR last month in India at an attractive price of Rs. 1.73 lakh (Ex-Showroom). The company had already mentioned during the launch that this price is introductory and it will be available for customers who book the motorcycle before September 30. Now the company will officially increase the price of XMR and the model will be priced at Rs. 1.80 lakh, which is a premium of Rs. 7000. The next booking window for the Karizma XMR is not yet announced and the dealership dispatch has also commenced.

The Karizma XMR features an innovative 210cc, single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling, delivering 25.5hp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. This powerplant is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. Remarkably, this marks Hero’s inaugural liquid-cooled engine. The engine is housed within a robust steel trellis frame and is supported by a telescopic fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. 0-60 kph in 3.8 sec and the braking duties are taken care of by 300 mm disc at the front and 230 mm disc at the rear, while the company has given dual-channel ABS also.

Hero has given 17-inch wheels for the Karizma with 100/80 section tyre at the front and 140/70 section tyre at the rear. One of the segment’s first features of the new Karizma XMR is that the windshield can be adjusted up and down by 30 mm via a button. Hero has given a fully digital instrument cluster for the Karizma XMR and it comes with features like smartphone connectivity for incoming call/SMS alert, turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle battery status, range, gear position indicator and shift advisory, ambient light sensor, gear shift & low fuel indicator, trip meter etc. The new Karizma XMR is available in three colour options – Iconic Yellow, Turbo Red and Matte Phantom Black.
