There are 4 testing facilities in the country. Which include iCAT in Manesar, ARAI in Pune, GARC in Oragadam and NATRAX in Pithampur. All these testing facilities are operated under the government of India’s National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRIP). Carmakers can use these facilities to test their vehicles and get certified. This facilities will also help the government to ensure that the vehicle which are going to sell in the market had met the saftey requirements or not.

With this move, India has become the sixth country to successfully provide testing and certification to foreign cars. India is becoming one of the best countries in the world to offer such a great opportunity for car makers to test their vehicles under different climates.
