Exclusive: Skoda Compact SUV Interior Spied For The First Time

Skoda’s upcoming compact SUV interior has been spied for the first time. The dashboard is still covered which hides the design theme but we can see the infotainment system, instrument cluster and steering wheel. This particular test mule appears to be a top-end variant as it gets a larger infotainment system and from the graphics, it appears to be a 10-inch unit, which we have already seen on the Kushaq or the company might upgrade it to a 12.3-inch system, which is offered by most of its competitors. The software is the same one which is on the Kushaq.

We can also see shortcut touch buttons for the Media, Phone and Traction Control. The infotainment system appears to be integrated into the dashboard rather than the tablet-like design we have seen on the Kushaq. The instrument cluster design is exactly similar to other Skoda models and it could be 8-inch like the Kushaq. Even though the steering wheel is not visible, it is likely to be the same twin-spoke unit on the latest Skoda models and it is one of the nicest-looking steering wheels in the market with a premium look.

During the announcement of this new model, Skoda confirmed that it will come with more features than the Kushaq as it competes against models which is packed with almost all the features. Some of the features expected on the compact SUV include a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof (which is not visible on this prototype), a heads-up display, ADAS and more. Skoda is planning to introduce this new compact SUV early next year as the launch might take place in February and the debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
