Exclusive: Skoda Compact SUV Gets Kushaq-Inspired LED Tail Lamps

Skoda officially announced the development of a new compact SUV earlier this year and the model is expected to be launched in India early next year as it is going to be one of the most important models of the company. We spotted the Skoda’s compact SUV in Pune during peak traffic as the manufacturer might be testing the model on bumper-to-bumper traffic to see how it performs and whether the engine and gearbox heat up or not as there are so many things to be extensively tested before the final production model to be released.

But the interesting thing is that we spotted the compact SUV during the night and it revealed that the new model will come with LED tail lamps as the design theme is somewhat similar to the Kushaq but the size appears to be different. The C-shape design is a trademark for modern Skoda models and it continues with this new model. The spy shots also confirmed that the compact SUV won’t get connected tail lamps like some of its rivals as it has become a norm for manufacturers to add such design elements and it is popular among customers.

Like the Kushaq, the upcoming SUV also gets a split headlamps design theme and it was revealed in the first teaser. The headlamps are positioned slightly lower than on the Kushaq while the LED DRLs are placed on the top. We can see a small light on the hood and it could be a possibility that the Skoda logo might be illuminated on the top-end variants. Apart from this, the design theme appears to be almost similar to the Kushaq. We can expect Skoda to offer lots of different and unique colour options with the new model.
