By Ather officially opened the bookings of the Apex 450 in India as the company announced it via X (Twitter). The Indian Start-up has been teasing the model for some time now as they are focusing on performance with the Apex 450. According to the company, the Apex 450 is the pinnacle of the 450 platform. The company is expected to reveal the model in the coming days but the deliveries are likely to start in March 2024 as the series production will start next year which will help the company to reduce the waiting period.
The teasers all emphasise the performance of 450X Apex as the battery pack won’t be expected to change but the engineers are focusing on extracting more performance as the recent teaser shows that the new 450X Apex beat the 450X as the latter is one of the fastest accelerating electric scooters in its segment. One of the highlights of the 450X is the Warp mode, which increases performance for additional acceleration and for the new model, the company is taking it further by introducing Warp+.
We are expecting a big leap in performance upgrade on the new mode even though it will affect the overall range. Apart from this, the 450X Apex will come with multilevel regeneration modes as it will improve range especially if you are coming down a hill. Another change coming on the new model is the transparent panels as it has been revealed on the teaser. The 450X Apex will be powered by the same 3.7 kWh battery pack and the power output will be slightly higher than the regular model. More details will be revealed soon.
