2023 Triumph Street Triple Bookings Open in India

Triumph has started bookings for the 2023 Street Triple in India. The Street Triple is a naked or streetfighter motorcycle with an aggressive attitude and the motorcycle set a whole new benchmark for performance with its agile dynamic easy handling. The 2023 model of the Triumph Street Triple will be officially launched in India in March 2023, customers can book the bike by paying a token amount of INR 50,000. The deliveries of the 2023 Street Triple will commence in April 2023.

The 2023 Street Triple features a lot of cosmetic as well as mechanical changes. Triumph has made the Street Triple more aggressive as it retains the signature dual bug-eyed headlight with a fly screen over it. The fuel tank extensions are reprofiled with sharper styling, which makes the fuel tank capacity reduced to 15 litres from 17 litres of the previous one. The Street Triple range gets a major update in its engine. The engine comes with the latest combustion chamber, increased compression ratio, increased cylinder pressure limits, and new pistons. The new Street Triple is powered by a 765 cc liquid-cooled petrol engine that produces 120 bhp of power and 80 Nm of torque in the R trim whereas in the RS trim the engine produces 130 bhp power and 80 Nm of torque. India will only receive the Street Triple R and RS models — the limited-run Moto 2 Edition, will not be available in India.

2023 Triumph Street Triple gets the gear ratio and Final ratio revised for better performance and acceleration. Up-and-down quick shifters are standard across all variants and the characteristic inline triple sound is regained with the new free-flow exhaust. Triumph Street Triple is equipped with cornering ABS and traction control standard across the range and can be tailored as per rider preference. The Riding modes too have been optimized, with the R variant now featuring four settings — Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider-configurable while the RS has an additional Track mode. The Street Triple rides on 41 mm Showa upside-down fork suspension at the front and a mono-shock at the rear, while the RS variant gets Showa upside-down Big Piston fork up front and an Ohlins mono-shock at the rear.
