By MG recently introduced the Hector facelift in India with lots of exterior and interior changes but one thing we noticed is that the 18-inch alloy wheels were carried over from earlier models. But the latest spy pictures confirm that the Hector will get new 5-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels and this could be part of the update for the engine to meet BS6 Phase-II emission norms. Both the petrol and diesel engines will be updated to meet these new emission norms.
But this is confusing considering that the company recently introduced a major update and still they missed out on a small thing like alloy wheels while introducing them at a later stage. We are not expecting any significant price changes for the new Hector and the company is offering lots of attractive schemes to make the model more popular among customers. The Hector still misses out on a diesel automatic gearbox, which could have made the model even more attractive.
