2023 Hyundai Verna To Come With Level 2 ADAS Features

Hyundai is going to launch the next-generation Verna in India on March 21. The company has already revealed several details of the Verna and the sedan will come with Level 2 ADAS features as Honda recently introduced the regular variant of the City with ADAS too so it won’t be a segment-first feature but the Verna comes with a total of 65 safety features across the variants and among them 30 safety features will be standard, which will be a big bonus.

Some of the key ADAS features on the new Verna include Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Car, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Pedestrian, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Cycle, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist- Junction Turning, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Blind-Spot Collision- Avoidance, Assist Lane Keeping, Assist Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning, Safe Exit Warning, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Lane Following Assist and more.

The Verna also comes with six airbags as standard across the variants along with ABS, EBD, rear parking, sensors, ISOFIX points, and Emergency Stop Signal to name a few. Hyundai Verna will come with two engine options in the Indian market a 1.5 L naturally aspirated petrol engine with 113 hp and 144 Nm and a 1.5 L turbo-petrol engine with 158 hp and 253 Nm, mated to 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT. We can expect aggressive pricing from Hyundai.
